Bugis Street
BUGIS STREET, SINGAPORE
No single street can be notably interesting without dynamic events and spirits over and above functional, comfy and sustainable architecture. To say that I was pleased to chip in this particular street would be an understatement, where the context of the state is relatively hectic, fast pace and hassle.
This distinct street has performed itself radically out of the box. Despite breaking the rules of population’s hustle and bustle, it brings variation ages as well as profession community together, expressing the sturdy unity of multi-nation under one government.
The architecture of the mall in the background, plus the water features on the plaza provides excellent spot, communal space for energetic children, a relaxing yet lovely scene to adult, whilst the water fountain also helps to reduce the urban heat island effect In this massive concrete jungle.
People do not come over gather for always for no reason. This street, also, successfully brought spiritual joy and contentment to locals, not to mention the uses of curtain wall glass helps to bring inside out, plus the balcony feature presents more harmonious visual itself.
Consequently, this would be the prototype of street what I would look forward to be participating in sometime soon!
